The Pinecrest Medical Care Facility

Addition & Renovation to Existing Structure – Phase IIA consisted of constructing new additions to each wing located north of the “Y” area of the building. The new construction totaled approximately 20,000 gross square feet. These additions comprised three different areas and have been described as the northwest, southwest & northeast areas.  Phase IIA also included the reconstruction of the roof above the original 1922 building (2,000 sf +\-) and renovations to the building within the basement, first and second floors involving a total of approximately 23,254 gross square feet.  The new additions and renovations accommodate staff support space, resident kitchen/dining/living rooms, private bathing facilities, OT/PT fitness space and space for residents, families and community activities.  The work was specifically coordinated and sequenced to minimize disruptions to the residents of the medical care facility.
