The new Sawyer International Airport terminal project was completed on time and the owner completed the transfer from the old airport terminal to the new without delays or incidents. Precast wall panels and arched metal roof building components give the terminal an old fashion hanger appearance and the open ceiling provides a spacious entrance to Marquette County and the Upper Peninsula. The project included a large entrance canopy, parking and service roads, baggage handling equipment, office space and service desks for the airlines and car rental agencies.
