This 28,000-square-foot courthouse addition included site preparation, demolition of the existing annex and probate buildings, and expanded parking. Masonry foundation walls were provided, with the floors and roof being supported by structural steel columns, beams and metal decking. The outer and inner walls are a mix of steel studs with masonry and glass exterior. The facility houses two new courtrooms, district court probation, jury rooms, adult probation, court offices, prosecuting attorney area, conference rooms, security screening area, archival storage and break rooms. The courthouse addition was also updated with a secure prison elevator and vehicle entrance sally port.
