Northern Michigan University can claim two of eight campus residence hall renovations in the United States-and the first in the Midwest-to achieve sustainability benchmarks set by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Gundlach Champion was the contractor for renovation of Meyland and Van Antwerp Halls which have received "certified" and "silver" designations through the council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
