Dow Environmental Sciences and Engineering Building

The Dow Environmental Science and Engineering Building is a 167,000 sq. ft. educational and research facility that embodies the mission of environmental sensitivity.  Every building material, the positioning of the building and even the waste management had to be in line with this stated mission. The building was constructed into the side of an 80’ hill along Portage Lake.  A foundation tie back system was needed to maintain stability.
